engine not level

engine not level
its kind of a silly question ,but i was looking at under the hood today on my 95 xj and noticed that when the truck is on level ground the back of the engine sits slightly lower its not bad,but its enough to notice ....i never noticed it before,just making sure its normal and no mounts fell out thanks

ALL engines whether longitudinally mounted or transversely mounted are designed to be mounted on some sort of tilt. reason being that the oil drain-back passaged that allow oil to flow back into the oil pan are placed in the corners of the motor (for spacing reasons). if the motor was level, there's a possibility of oil starvation so the tilt is there to prevent such a catastrophe.
