Default Engine noise with Audio

I just got a 2001 XJ for a parts jeep for my 2000. Its a rust bucket, but it runs. The engine is making a banging noise, like a broken rod or piston I'm thinking. Any ideas? Thanks. Here's the link to the video.

You might want to stand a little further away from that while it's running because parts are probably going to start flying out of the engine soon.

Do you know yet if is has a cracked head?

No, I haven't got that far yet. I was hoping it might have been an easy fix and I could use it as a beater but it doesn't sound too promising.
