Engine noise

Engine noise
Hey people
Got a 94 XJ, 4L, and since i bought it, i have done all the usual servicing to it. I have read through old posts about noise and i have checked the convertor bolts ( were a little loose ) and no cracks in the plate, but i seem to have a fairly loud clunking at idle, in gear and out of gear. when you increase the idle slightly, it disappears. Its def coming from the front but i cant pinpoint it??? Any advice would be great
