i need to replace the engine mounts and im woundering if i should get stock or polyurthane

i read that the polyurthane gives bad vibes
do the vibes out do the benefits of the extra strengths?
and is it really worth the extra cash to get polyurthane mounts?

I just replaced my motor mounts a few days ago. I got non polyurethane and she is nice and quiet. The main benefit to polyurethane is that they'll outlast the regular by a lotttt. I personally don't have experience with them but have also read that they can give you vibes

It will vibrate pretty good with the polys, I have teh MOREs and they vibrate a lot. If your worried about that then get the stockers.

I would go rubber when it comes to motor mounts. Way too much vibration for poly IMO.

Recommend these mounts x1000

Thank you for calling them ENGINE mounts! You would think the part stores would use this correct terminology too.

X2, and the rubber mounts will last quite awhile. The vibes from the poly's gets annoying and hard to get used to

So far I like the look of the Brown Dog mounts but can't comment on how they feel yet. I did go poly though. My hopes are that the extra money I spent getting my new engine balanced will translate to less vibrations and the poly will help give me feedback on how my engine is running. I hopefully will be able to comment futher on this once its in and running in about another week (did I just jinx myself?!!)

I got the poly mounts from Brown Dog and regret it. It's shaking my fillings out. Switching them out for Brown Dog's rubber ones.

Did you swap the mounts out for the rubber ones? I'm curious to see if you got any vibes with the Brown Dog's rubber mounts.

I think that the polys kinda smooth out after a few thousand miles

I have the browndog mounts and they vibrate but you get used to it. they are good for when you need to drive it like you stole it or when you want to desert race.
