engine makes a sharp rattle when I accelerate hard

ok so I feel a little stupid but I fixed the problem. I noticed that one of the screws on my fan shroud was loose. then I inspected the shroud a little further and noticed there was a little wear on the inside near the fan. so I got a new screw and tightened it up real good. took it for a test drive and gave it lots of gas. not rattle. stupid me but i'm happy it's fixed. thanks for all your help.
