Default Engine loud in first gear

01 4.0 auto seems to be a little loud in first gear but quiets a little in 2nd and 3rd etc. It shifts fine and It seems to idle fine when I am stopped. But every time I move in first gear the engine sounds like it is taking in a ton of air and just sounds loud. When I am cruising the engine sounds smooth and quiet at least for an engine with 141k miles.

You might check your radiator fan clutch. I had a ford at one time and it sounded like a jet when I would take off. Ended up being the fan clutch. Hope it helps. Something easy I hope.
