engine lift points ????

Default engine lift points ????

hey I am in the prosess of doing an engine swap on my 92 Cherokee sport, I have disconnected everything ( that I can find so far ) needed and im ready to lift the engine out and I cant seem to figure out where to hook the chain,,,any help would be great. im kinda thinkin about putting a bolt thrue the square hole on the bracke that holds the throttle cable that's bolted to the intake manifold???? like I said any help would be great thanks

Oh just do it the way you described, I want to see how that turns out lol
But there should be bolt holes on the side of the block.

OK maby I should be alittle more specific.....I know there are bolt holes in the block...there are several, I was hopping somebody could tell me which one work best?

Do not lift from that bracket! Do not lift from the intake manifold at all. Use a bolt at the front and rear of the head, or attach the chain to the head studs at the front and rear of the head.
