Default Engine dying problems

I have a 97 xj 4.0 with the aw4 trans. If it's in park and I throttle it up when I let off the engine will slowly idle down then die. It'll also do this when I'm driving and go from high rpm to low rpm. I recently changed all fluids engine and trans included and I've also changed spark plugs recently also my tps and I've adjusted my kickdown cable here recently as well. Anybody had a similar issue? What do y'all think?

Sounds like an IAC problem. Clean it and go from there. If there's still an issue, check the wiring. If all checks out, replace the IAC

Ok thanks. I'll try that. If this changes anything it will idle at start up fine. It's just when I go to high rpm them let of the pedal it'll go down and die.
