I have an engine from a 93 cherokee and was wondering if I can use the parts from that engine to clean and replace the parts in my 89 engine with those? Please help.

Many things just won't interchange easily. The 89 is a Renix era engine while the 93 is a H.O. engine. Intake and exhaust are different. Many sensors are also different. The ignition is different. I think the water pump is the same.
As to cleaning up do you mean clean a 93 part to replace the 89 part? If you do you see that most things will not work that way. I think even the valvecover is different b/c the H.O. had a pcv and the Renix only had a static vent line.
Sorry!

That's what this forum is for. Any Renix questions are easy for me but get up towards the last years and they are like working on a space shuttle. I have no idea what half that stuff even is for.
