I need emergency help as my daily driver and Jeep I need for work has a tail light out but the brake light still lights up.( When headlights turned on the red passenger side tail light does not come on, although brake light comes on when brake is applied ). No fuse are blown and both contacts on light bulb and socket are fine, both filaments in bulb are fine, different bulbs have same problem. I've already got a warning from the police so I need this fixed asap.

I would check the wiring, do you have a test light? make sure you have power, the socket make look fine but could have dirt, corrosion or something in the way.

Thank you for the response. I do have full power to vehicle and all contacts on socket, bulb and fuses and clean practically brand new clean. Although the one thing I haven't tried is using a multi meter on all the contacts. Currently this is the only electrical issue I have so it's not like a domino effect happening.
