short answer: you don't want 1/4 elipticals or 3/4 elipticals.

Set up right they work great, but the key is you have to get the spring lengths and rates perfect, as well as the control arm lengths. I suggest you search on Pirate4x in the hardcore section. Just search, dont post or they will flame you.


We had a guy in the club who had a cj ON 1/4 ellipticals, and his rig flexed, but his leaf mounting points were mounted on bushings and it pivoted off the body. Real good setup, too bad... he ditched it all to build a true buggy
