Yea I cleaned the battery post and other connections so that part is done thanks though for the reminder.
As for the alternator/generator thing, I only did that because several parts places I researched listed it that way plus I am a bit of a smart ***, I apologize.
I do though want to think you all who had input on this. Even though it didn't help solve the problem (which is still a mystery) it is nice to know I can come here for ideas to help. Thanks again
