Default Electrical Problems

Ok so I redid the cooling system on the 87 4.0L 5-speed over the weekend by rebuilding the radiator and converting it to a closed system. That all went well, but now I have electrical problems.

It stated fine and I drove it around the block to get the air out however I noticed that battery wasn't charging and eventually died during the next days errands. Got out the voltmeter and batter was down to 10.5V. Jumped it and tested the battery it was only getting 12.3V to the battery terminals.

In addition the thing has some sort of battery isolator that must have been added by the PO. The different poles on the isolator are any where from 12.1V to 12.7V when engine is running.

When I got tired of working on it I tried to shut off the motor and it wouldn't turn off.

Also, the clutch master cylinder is leaking on the fuse box, but not bad yet and I light tested all the fuses and they all check OK.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
