Electrical problem with starter?
Hello i have a 95 cherokee my jeep won't turn over when I turn the key. I jumped the starter and it turned the starter so it can't be my starter right? I checked all my relays and fuses under the hood my iod fuse was bad, switched it out and still doesn't turn over. I wiggled around neutral and park so it can't be my NSS. Is there some other place I can check? Thanks ahead of time.

I would start with the basics. Make sure that your battery is fully charged, Make sure that you have good connections at the battery. Also clean all of your ground points. That would include both battery terminals, battery to wheel well, oil dipstick, 2 on the ignition coil, rear of the head to the fire wall. and the one everyone forgets. The mounting area between the starter and engine block. Also make sure that the connections on the starter are clean and tight.
So I was on the trail and I had to take my 40amp fuse that says htd rear window and put it in the ecu fuse slot that burned out. I jumped the starter and the vehicle started. The slot I left empty was causing my starter to not turn over. I replaced that fuse and it turned over fired right up
