Default Electrical problem

Hi I'm trying to help my uncle fix his 2000 cherokee. The battery gets drained over night so we're trying to find the where it's being drained from. My question is does your automatic side mirrors work when the car is off and no keys are in it. B\c his works and the radio stays on. So I believe it could be a bad ignition switch b/c the car thinks it's still in acc mode.

My power mirrors on the '98 or the '92 don't work unless I'm in ON or RUN.

Take your hot side battery cable off,put a test light between the post and the cable. Start pulling fuses until the light dims. That will be the circut with the drain. It will allways be lit because of power to the computer, radio but it should be very dim.
