I have a 96 XJ 4.0. My rear wipers and washer stopped working all the sudden. Won't wipe or squirt fluid. I thought it was the switch so I replaced it. Still not working. I checked all the fuses looked fine. I took a test light and checked were he fuseswere and it lit up, so I'm assuming that there's power there. I then checked the plug and it wouldn't light up. On a side note I don't know if its connected but my rear window defroster stopped working a few months ago. I thought it also was the switch due to it the the switch fall apart and having not being able to find a replacement. While checking the plug for the wipers I also checked the plug for the rear defroster and it didn't light up the test light either. Am I missing something or wouldn't it light up the light. I work on my cars and know enough to just be dangerous... lol. Electrical is really my weak area. Any help would be appreciated. Ty to everyone.
