"NO BUS" shows up on my odometer and the dash dies, turn my head lights on and off and it works again. Is this familiar to anybody? 2000 Cherokee Classic.

 

Instrument cluster connections loose or corroded or dirty. Take the cluster out, clean it up. It's a common problem. Google "no bus Cherokee" lots of write ups on it. Lots of people, myself included just push to cluster and it fixes it temporarily.
