Default electrical nightmares continue...

well my 92 is up to its old tricks again, i am getting the code 27 for injector issues. its stalling and randomly bucking while going down the road, i am suspecting the PCM is failing but wanted to see what people that have way more experience with the jeeps have to say? all grounds have been refreshed, fresh tune up and CPS have been installed since this issue has come up. Thanks for any help you guys and gals can send my way..

It could also be the wring between the injectors and the PCM.

Yeah, look at the PCM harness plugs for the "green crusties." Injectors work by the PCM grounding them thru digital drivers and control fuel mixture by varying "on time." Also I think the harness may be compromised by brittle insulation or rubbing on something. I suspect corrosion because of the gradual increase of the problem.

well i think i have the issue solved, the power wire from the ASD relay to the injectors was broken and just sitting there in the splice, pulled harness apart and wire fell out. have test drove it 4 times with no issues. well one issue... it runs so well i got nailed doing 81 in a 60 zone...

Are you talking kph or mph? Not too shabby anyway. Isn't it always the simple things that drive us insane? I'm glad you found the problem.
