Electric Windows and locks
I have a 1997 Cherokee, sport, 4.0, 120,000 miles i bought brand new. She is beginning to show her age. Up until a few months ago (New water pump) she has never been in a service bay. I have always done the maintenance myself. Fluids, tune-up and so forth. Things are going bad and I am about to start working on her. Just a quick question.
1. How do I remove the front passenger controls on the door? I have the normal, passenger window won't roll down from the passenger side and i can't lock the doors all the time problem. I know it's a contact in the passenger door I can hear it failing everytime I try to lock the door. but when I go to remove it. It feels like it is about to break the plastic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a lot more that needs work , but I will start with this one. There will be more questions to come.
Thanks in advanced.

Here's a video that we have on a later model Jeep. It'll give you an idea on how to remove some of the components.

Thanks, That is helpful. But, I am really just trying to take the arm rest off or find some way to get to the switches in the arm rest. I am pretty sure the contacts are bad in the switches. I don't want to break the plastic parts and it feels like I am about to destroy it.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
