Electric fan Wiring question
Hey guys, I want to wire my E-fan so it comes on and stays on while the motor is running. I dont really want to wire it to a switch like everyone says, I want to wire it in somehow so it will come on and off with the ignition. I am not sure in the slightest how well this will work or how hardthis might be. Any suggestions??
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

I agree with posjeepxj. But I like the switch that way you can turn it off just in case your alternator dies on the road so you won't drain your battery.

Heres what i have done many times in the past and it works out perfect. Just find your ignition wire on the column ( shows 12v + with key forward ) and use that as your power source for a toggle switch. This way when you leave the toggle on the fan is activated by your ignition, but in a situation when you have to turn it off you still can; those fans suck some serious power and will drain your battery with the quickness!
