Howdy, I'm new to the forum. On my 99 Cherokee the fan is running intermittently, even when I have the blower off. I've searched through the forum to see if anyone else has the same problem as me - and they do - except the only difference is they have the blower on. It will turn on even when I first start it up with everything else off.

Any ideas?

 

bad switch... or there is a short in your wires allowing it to ground and complete the circuit, bypassing the switch.
