I have seen several posts on here about the electric cooling fans. I disconnected my fan and tried to run it from just the battery posts and it didn't run. Should the fan run when connected directly to the battery or is there another switch in the circuit?

yes it should run from direct connection to battery with every thing connected normally you should br able to disconnect you coolant temp sensor and fan should come on or turn ac on it should run if you trying to see if it works or not
