Hello, I have a 1990 Cherokee. I just replaced the vacuum harness for the ccv and in the process I noticed the bi-metal temp sensor (part of the egr vacuum system) in the air filter box was coated in oil and gunk. When trying to clean it, I stuck a pin inside of the nipple that is on the inside the airbox before I figured out the part was probably sensitive. Idiot! Anyway, since the part still seems to have oil in it and I possibly messed it up anyway, is there a way to test it? Also, I can't seem to find the part listed anywhere. Any ideas for finding a replacement part if needed?
