EFI, Manifold -> Engine Swap Question

EFI, Manifold -> Engine Swap Question
Can I just leave the EFI, Intake and exhaust on the engine that I am swapping from my 95 into my 93 Cherokee?
I really don't want to go through all that work just to put them right back on again. It seems like I should be able to take the exhaust off behind the manifold then find the connector for the EFI and I'm good.
Has anyone done this? If so how hard was it to get to the engine mounts?
