Hey guys,
So yesterday I was driving home and the car just died. I checked and the fuel pump was not working, but the check engine light was not on either. This led me to the 30amp fuse for the ecu/fuel pump etc. It was indeed blown so I replaced it and it blew again. Once I got the car towed home I put in a new fuel pump(had an extra) just to ensure there was not a short in the pump. I know this fuse controls a lot of stuff, but I just wondered if anyone had any leads on a probable place to start looking before I start tracing all the wires to find the short. It is a 1991 Laredo High output 4.0 manual so you know.
Thanks for any help in advance
Brendan

Found the problem;
The o2 sensor wire had touched the header and melted through grounding it and blowing the fuse. Just a heads up if anyone has a similar problem.
Thanks

Thanks BB. One to watch for. Guess there's a TCU, PCM, and ECU, (Renix). (guess somebody likes alphabet soup).
