ebay Snorkles
Anyone notice the Safari Snorkle ripoff's on ebay for about half the price. I know they are shipping from Malaysia but I see 50 have sold so far. Looks like the exact same mold.
Anyone try it?

What do you expect them to say? It looks like a good snorkel to me. You've laid hands on it and can tell if it's good or junk. I wouldn't have any buyers remorse if it was my snorkel....Good find.

it is just a simple mold, once you have that mold you can reproduce them for cheap. would try it. Even if they used a cheaper ABS plastic that only lasted say 4 years that is still not a bad deal! It just comes down to how durable the plastic is, the snorkel will work just fine!

Yep, I bought one.
here in Oz the home of Safari the price differnece is not as dramatic but still substancail.
1st thing to note is that if your XJ has the washer bottle between the guard and skirt then you will need to source your own replacement as the kit does not have one.
It would be fair to say that the quality is probably not as good as the Safari but i would suggest in terms of value for money they are good.
If you do buy one read the installation instructions and pay NO attention the the drill bit sizes they suggest, they are wrong.
Any questions? remember i am on the other side of the world so will probably be asleep when you ask
