Default ebay fuel injectors

got a 96.... found some bosch 710s 4 hole that will drop right in with no adapter plug. my concern is their listed for 50 bucks for a set of six brand new . the manufactoring number is stamped on with box. what am i missing ? new ones are 50 bucks for new off brand at oreillys.ive seen other "bosch " sets new for cheap as well. its hard for me to justify 200 bucks for used clean ones where i have to purchase adapters as well. what do yall think ? bosch 703s will fit also for "cheap " new on ebay. if its a scam i can send back.anybody else buying these sets ? these are 4 hole injectors not the popular 12. im a little weary of the 12 hole as ive read some threads where jeep ran rich afterwards.

Most of the "new" ones on eBay are chinese knockoffs with a horrible reputation. I would go with refurbished and tested before I trusted the crap on eBay. Properly sized 4-holes are fine in my opinion, and there is negligible benefit to going with 12-hole. By properly sized, I mean resistance, flow rate and pressure. You can convert flow rates for different pressures, but running an injector optimized for a different pressure even at the same flow rate can result in a screwed up pattern.

Here's my suggestion:

Ebay has no real policing policy on fraud activities.
It is a haven for swindlers and fraudsters....

I got my Bosch 12 hole remans on eBay a couple years ago for 100, now they're 180.

You ain't gonna get anything good for 9 bucks apiece.

The week before last I helped a buddy swap out the Chinese Knock Off injectors for a set of re-man'd Bosch.
Now his TJ runs like it's supposed to and I have a matching set of six paperweights.

Based on my observation I'll basically echo what others have said.
1 hole to 4 worth it.
1 hole to 12 worth it.
4 hole to 12 not enough difference to justify the cost.
If the 4 holes in place now legitimately need replacing... 4 hole or 12 hole the costs are about the same so take your pick.

Sticking up for ebay a little. Their MBG money back guarantee trumps anything a seller has listed as return policy. If an item is not as described, defective / not working in this case or fake, the seller will be forced to offer a return shipping label and a refund once item is returned. If the seller refuses the return ebay will step in and refund you anyways. You have 30 days from time of receipt of item.

Not saying ebay doesn't have some horrible sellers but they stand by buyers.

Yup, I've gotten screwed by the MBG policy a few times. Buyers claims not as advertised and eBay forces you to refund. I've gotten an item back damaged, missing parts, not what I shipped them, and one time a chunk of wood instead of the item. eBay sided with the buyer every time. They also force you to pay the return shipping, and only refund $6 of the return shipping if you protest. I stopped selling on eBay for that reason.

Very obvious knock-offs, since they're missing the embossed Bosch logo. Some of the sneakier ads show genuine, but then ship you counterfeit.

Freddy - Why are you changing your oems? I'm skeptical that a set of ****ty chinese fakes are going to work well, based on seeing the side-by-side comparison videos and feedback from people who have bought them

Cf veteran .... im replacing a cracked manifold . Thought while everything was apart id replace the 28 year old injectors with " better " injectors . Is it all hype ? IDK . Jeep runs good now . It does have a slight flutter at times during idle . I figured for 100 bucks or less new or remanufactored injector would be a no brainer right .200 or more bucks is getting more questionable . I may just give my injectors a sonic bath and new o rings .
