Ok, so I have been trying to figure out why my e-fan is not coming on when the temp gets hotter, usually in traffic.

Checked the fan by hooking to the battery, and it works fine.
Checked the relay, and it seems to be ok.
Pulled the plug off the cts and that turns the fan on
Replaced the cts and fan still not working.

Not sure what is going on and why it won't come on, any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Efan comes on at 218F coolant temp or when a/c compressor is on. Are u reaching 218F?

 

ac compressor is gone, replaced with bypass pulley, and yes i have let it sit until the gauge reads over 220 or so
