Default E brake issues

i lifted my xj 8.5 inches and had to disconect the e brake dose anyone know of a company that makes longer e brake cables ?

There is one company that I know of....Jeep.

I used 94 Wrangler PASS. side brake cables for BOTH of my rusted e-brake cables.

They are about 71 3/4" as opposed to the shorter XJ at 53" (18 3/4" longer)

I had to run mine to opposite sides of the main cable.... meaning the pass side connected to the body mount on the driver's side...and vice versa.

I only have a 3" lift and these were plenty long enough (almost too long)
BUT with your height lift, I believe they would work just fine.

I found I had to dremel 2-3 coils off the spring that goes into the drum.
The spring was too long to compress enough to allow the brake to fully grab.
