e-12 bolts on top of trans not too bad?
Started dropping a aw4 today was ready for pure hell due to it being in chicago for 16 years. I was really concerned about the e-12 bolts on top cause of the stories of stripping. I used 30" of wobbler extensions they came out easy as well as the exhaust system. I have one stuck bolt the transmission dipstick mounting tab its a 1/2 or 13mm. I have no room for a cheater bar I even heated it up a little, I wish it would just break off. Anyone else have this same trouble? think I have one on the drivers side too!

The mounting bolt for the tranny dipstick (I'm assuming you meant the one on the firewall) is a huge pain in the neck, or at least it was for me. It required extensions, PB Blaster, and patience.

this one bolts to the transmission, I have a feeling its cause the housing is aluminum and the bolt is steel. wish I could slip a grinder in there.
