Default Durango steering box.

Hey all,

I'm going to the scrap yard tomorrow one of the things I'll be looking for is a Durango steering box. Are there any special tools I should bring for the job? Other then a pitman arm puller? Or anything that will make it easier for me that I should know?

Thanks a bunch you guys are great!

a can of pb blaster
and a hammer..
no wait a bigg hammer. lol

some a them f***ers will be on there good.

and then your basic toolset to possible remove shrouds in the way. flare wrenches would be a plus for removing pressure hoses from the top but not necesary i use open end wrenches.

and some shop towels. i dont mind getting dirty but when old fluid gets all over you, you wish you had some with you.. lol trust me from my experience.

should be a simple job.

id DEFFINITLY recommend adding C-ROK steering box brace to replace the chinsy factory brace.
worth the 50$

Since it's the scrap yard I had just planed on cutting the lines and sticking a socket on it! Yay for breaking stuff!!
