I recently picked up a 96 cherokee country with an aw4 both @175k . Its in great shape. Tonight on my way home i had just takin' my foot off the gas and i could hear and feel what seems to be after the engine, a shudder ( it causes my tcase lever linkage to start rattling) and the engine will drop rpm no matter how much gas i give it, moments later it will run fine. When coasting downhill it will not do any of this. Any ideas?? Thanks.
