hey guys i recently had to replace the switch for the door locks/windows. while i had the inside panel and door latch off i started having problems with the drives side lock its self. if i pull the handle from the inside the door wont open so i have to put the key in the door and keep it turned in the unlocked position while i open it from the outside....has anyone had this problem before??? any help would be great! this is a PITA

 

did you pull apart the door and make sure none of the plastic retainer clips broke?

 

i had issues with the locks when i took the panel off for speakers and bent the locking rods to where they wouldnt work correctly on accident...could check them

 

Check your rods and plastic clips, as told. It sounds like this is where the problem lies as the mechanism basically works.
