Default Drivers side brake light not working

I did a little searching around but couldn't come to much of a conclusion. Anyone have ideas why my brake light on the drivers side only wouldn't work? The bulb is fine because the lights work. Thoughts? Thanks!

The stop light circuit is different. Just because the taillight works doesn't mean the stoplight will, pickup a replacement bulb, see if that works then go from there. If it works great, if not you have a replacement bulb in your toolbox. If that's not it, could be corrosion on the contacts or a broken wire. But try a replacement bulb first.

Thanks for the info. I disassembled the trunk panels last night and found the broken wire. Soldered it up, good as new!
