I have a 01 four door XJ. All my doors lock with the power door switch on other the drivers and pass. side doors. My pass side door locks manually with the key. Drivers side door locks with nothing. On the inside I cannot get the little lock button to move, it is stuck in the locked position. When I try to lock it from the outside with the key I turn it to the left (front of the jeep) and it feels like it's spring loaded and the key goes back to the straight position
Door opens and shuts perfectly but won't lock at all. All other doors work as expected.
I took the door panel off today and was unable to see anything weird and the two rods were connected and did not appear bent.
Any suggestions? Sick of punk kids rummaging thru my jeep.

 

The lock has power to it as well. You can hear it and also see the lock tab/button move slightly but if you try and do it manually from the inside to lock it, it will not budge....
