Default driver window !!!!

my driver side window goes up and down fine, but when i put it up all the way it sounds like gears are grinding. same thing when its all the way down

Mine does the same exact thing. Someone who services windshields and windows for a living told me the gears to the window regulator were going bad and that one day it'll just stop working. Until then just keep using it. When it goes bad get a new regulator and motor and swap it out. They're about $90.

I'm not sure it's a serviceable thing but someone else here may have some experience with it.

Very simple DIY project.

Would I just have to take off the door panel and replace it right?

Yes. Pull the door panel, a couple of bolts and two clips at the bottom of the glass.
