I would just like a couple people's advise. Couple months ago i was wheelin, and at one point i wasnt trusting my spotter.... so that being said i opened my door to see what was under me and what not so i had it open and crept a little forward and slipped off the rock. anyways, the door broke off. The hinges broke off at the frame of the jeep. i have them welded on right now. but they are actin up latley and i can see them breakin off in the next couple weeks. any ideas?

Eh, who really needs doors anyway? I've always wondered if it's possible to use wrangler hinges on an xj. That would honestly be a really neat fix to your problem. Then, next time you go wheeling the doors won't even be a problem when you question the intregity of the calls your spotter makes. If i had the problem you had thats the route i'd be interested in as far as fixing it is concerned.

I'm not recommending, it, just suggesting the idea of it. I never really looked into how it would work to be completely honest but where there is a will there is a way and i intend to do it someday.
