Default Drip rail trim removal?? How to get off in one piece?

I found a Cherokee in color at a yard far away from me. I'm buying the door, hood, flares, and I want to grab the drip rail moulding on the drivers side. Has anyone removed one and do you have a idea on how to get it off?

Yep the one above the doors. The little strip that covers the two sections that were welded together.

I'm not talking about the drip rail itself. Im talking about the finish piece of trim that covers the sandwiched roof skin and support. When getting into your Cherokee you will see the piece and it curved at the front of the drip rail. Its just finish piece that covers the sandwiched metal. On mine the front tip is broken off my drivers side where it curves.

I wish I could help you on this but none of the XJ's that I've owned ever had any molding on there.

I have pulled them off, they both came off with no problem. Just lightly glued. Me and my neighbor trade them back and forth on our cherokees when the other guys isnt looking and see how long it takes for us to notice..

It sounds like an aftermarket rain visor by the sounds of it. If it's what I think you're talking about, you pull the window's weather trim out and there are small brackets holding them in place.

Does it look like this:

Not true. If it is in fact moulding, just place your thumbs under the trim and kind of "roll" it up. It will pop right off. My '91 has chrome and thats all I did to remove it. If you bend it thoiugh, it will never go back on right.
