kinda knew it was gonna go once it stopped rolling all the way down a few weeks back. yesterday i got in my heep after fixing my "bug" and my window rolled all the way down on me and wouldnt go back up. makes a little humming noise from any control that trys to put the window up.

ok so the guys at the junk yard are pulling a motor for me cause i came to notice it had pivits(i think thats what they are called) holding onto it. how am I gonna remount it to get my window back today?? just screw it in some how? thanks

 

Screws or pivits (Rivets) only choices I can think of.

 

there rivets (and some pretty big ones at that). A year ago, replaced a window motor (regulator) in a 97 firebird. Had to borrow my brothers (He's a body man) rivet tool. He also had the rivets. The other choice was to rent one from auto zone. And buy 3 rivets from auto zone.
