Door Removal Tricks?

Ive heard the XJ's are prone to not wanting to line up if you unbolt them??

Just pull the pins? Inspect them before you put them back, they wear out.
They are an odd size, 7mm? I drilled one door to 5/16 and used Hex bolts long enough that I could cut off the threaded section and end up with a smooth pin the right length, but with a hex head.

I just did the 4 door unbolt thing. its a pain in the ***, but its doable if you cared enough, record how many shims are on each hinge and youll have half the battle won, we used 2 - 3 people to do the job on my jeep.
I switched to 97 + doors in the front, and removed the rears for paint etc.
hours wasted, shoulda cut the hinges lol
