Door lock linkage rod routing
Hi everyone:
I'm a noob at this, so I've learned some things the hard way...including this: The key wouldn't work in my passenger side front door, so I took off the panel to investigate...lo and behold, I'm missing the connecting rod that connects the lock cylinder to the latch. But when I put in the latch, I put the connecting rods in the wrong way...I know the end of the rod top for the lock lever faces upward and the bottom latch lever faces down, but do the rods go in front of or behind the door beams? Thanks!
