Question Door lock cylinder removal

I got a piece of plastic stuck in my door lock cylinder on the drivers side. I can't lock or unlock the door with key now. Is there anyway to remove either the piece of plastic itself (can't see it) or the entire cylinder to try to shake loose the plastic? Do I need to replace the entire cylinder?

Pull the trim panel, the cylinder is just held in place with a clip.

I'm not going to even ask what happened.
