My boy was securing something to my roof rack, he had the back door open and was holding on / leaning on it for balance. Sounds harmless enough, until I tried to shut the door and found that it had sagged and it was binding on the back of the front door.
To get the doors not to hit each other, I closed the back door as much as possible and pulled up on the back of it. They dont hit now but you can hardly slide a piece of paper between them. Telling the long story so others can avoid this problem.
Is there any way to ajust that gap wider? (The Jeep was never in a wreck or the body messed with for any reason.)
Thanks, John

I had some issues with mine, Of course you can't adjust the welded half of the hinge, but you CAN put shims between the door and the hinge. Don't know if that could help there. (shims under the bottom will make it pivot and bring the top forward) Also if there's play in the hinge new pins might help, some of mine wore out. I'm not going to suggest you put a jack, (with a block of wood), under the door, then stand/bounce on the "threshold". If I where to suggest that then I would be partly responsible if the door just, like, fell off or something!
You might just check with a body shop. Might be something they could handle for a song.
(btw, don't get why they made those pins hollow. To save weight?)
