ok came home one night and the dome light was on in my 99 Cherokee. messed with if for awhile and took off all door switches and unplugged the light switch and the bugger is still on. went to the passenger side kick panel and removed it to see the fuse box and found some water on the floor. unplugged the dome lights plug (pink/yellow) wires and went in for the night. is there a problem with the fuse box maybe? anyone have any info to fix before I make my own dome light switch set-up.

 

Turn the headlight switch. I did this when I first got my jeep and ended up taking the bulb out until I figured it out.

 

I unplugged all switches and its still on

 

yea its either the headlight switch or one of the switches. Did you check the one at the tailgate?
