This is my first 4x4, I'm wanting to do a 3" lift with 30"-33" tires. It's the Jeep in the sig and it'll mostly be used on the road and mainly during heavy snow. I'd also love to go trailing occasionally but don't care for flexing (I don't want disconnects on the sway bars). I'm currently looking at Rusty's 3" with Rusty's shocks, I already have brand new rear leaf springs (factory height, got them before I was considering a lift) so I'm leaning toward the 3" add-a-leaf kit. Would this be a good kit or should I up to the 3" Spring Pack Kit, or a kit from a different manufacturer? What else should I look into to make the jeep more road worthy after the lift? I'm a complete noob to 4x4s so any help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Rusty is a great lift. id go with that brand for sure. i dont think you will be able to fit 33's with a 3 inch lift though, inless you plan on cutting fenders. if your not huge on 4x4 then mine as well just go with the add-a-leaf

The time I have had an issue with the add-a-leafs has been when adding them to warn leafs springs, since you are starting with new ones you should be fine. If you can, some of my friends have said that the Rusty shocks are very stiff and are not the greatest. Will work for the start, if you want a softer road ride you may want to upgrade them.

When I was planning my rebuild without lift I was going to go with the Rancho RS5000 shocks, I can get a full set for $200. Should I just get the Rancho set and then purchase the 3" front springs ($100) and 3.5" add-a-leafs ($70) seperate from Rusty's for a total of $370. Would this be a better setup?
For the tires, I'm thinking 30" would be good with 8-10" width. Would this work well with a 3" lift?
Also, do I need to modify or replace any of the control arms or trackbar/steering components?
