Doing Headlight Harness Upgrade- why no sealed beams?

Yeah, it really is that easy.
For me, the installation was a hard thing to get into my head and visualize what was required, and I don't think Cruiser had that page up back then to help. It was such an easy procedure that people would post explanations that were very clear to someone who had already done it but didn't seem detailed enough to make any sense for those of us who hadn't already installed one. I had the harness but dragged my feet for over a year before finally deciding to tackle it. I was almost disappointed in how easy it actually turned out to be.
Apparently I'm not alone. I see the apprehension people have about it, especially on the Facebook groups. I tell people that if you can turn a screwdriver and operate a drill, you can install it. You just have to pull the grille off and do it, and it will make sense once you start into it.

I didn't look at Cruiser's instructions and didn't think to remove the grill. I ran the harness to the driver's side behind the top of the radiator following the coolant overflow hose. I installed it in camp in the desert and it was pretty easy.
