Does filling exhaust with creek water burn up O2 sensor?
twice now ive lost my front O2 sensor when taking my jeep for a swim. im assuming cold water on the hot ceramic parts in the sensor is what blows the sensor.
My question is if i fix my exhaust leaks, will i have this problem again? will the bend for the rear axle keep it from flooding i DO NOT want to put another $70 O2 sensor on it.
and i will put stacks on it before i stop swimming with it so dont even bother.

Yes, moisture fouls an O2 sensor. You should weld up your leaks anyway. Once that is done, one trick is to keep the engine running and not shut it off until you exit the water.

I was trying to stay in it but the water stalled the motor. I need a snorkel.
