Default do i need to reset my ecu

i had a cracked manifold so i replaced it with a new one and through in a new o2 sensor while i was at it, after doing this should i reset my ecu or should it be close enough to self correct the new air/fuel mixture the the non leaking manifold

I gather that it will just continue to learn as you suggest. I guess if it was running really bad, you'd leave the battery disconnected overnight to reset to default's.

I'm no expert! Just been following the forum for awhile. Btw, ECU till 90, then PCM 91 on.

thanks for the info and also does anyone know how rich it will run if i reset it, i dont want to ruin the millage i have now waiting for it to re learn the new fuel map

Just drive it, the PCM will adjust instantly. Actually, up until 96 Chrysler called the engine computer an SBEC. It stands for Single Board Engine Controller.

Best of luck, sounds like you should be good. The 93 FSM has it as the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
