my xj has worn out leaf springs. so i added AAL.

Problem is the stock leaf packs, one of them has a broken pin nipple thing at the bottom.

Other problem is the pin isnt long enough to go thru the AAL and align with the differential on the side that doesnt have it broke.

AND someone had blocks in there before i took em out for the AAL and there are pins coming out of the diff going upwards too.

Idk if pins are the right words for what im describing to u guys but they look like titty nipples.

how do i fix this so i can get my jeep back on the ground and back on the road?

 

any time you disassemble the packs you need to install new pins.

Whatever you do to one side you should do to the other so they match.

Go buy new pins and put the leafs back together.

I have no idea what you mean when you say the diff has pins sticking up out of it. Maybe a picture would help.

 

are those pins welded in the diff, or can you grab them and pull them out?

either way, they need to come out so the new pins in the leafs can sit in the perch on the axle.
