Default Do I have 20 gallon fuel tank?

I was looking online for a fuel pump for a 1991 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0 and find some listings state specifically they fit the 20 gallon fuel tank. Do some '91 Cherokees have something besides a 20 gallon tank? How do I find out what tank this vehicle has? Thank you.

You have a 20 gallon. Some of the earlier Renix ones had 13.5 gallons.

Honestly, when filling your tank near empty, what's the most gallons you were able to pump?

Not my Cherokee, belongs to my veterinarian, so I wasn't sure about fuel capacity options.

I beleave they all had the same fuel tanks , but inside the tank where the vent tube is placed made it a 20 gallon tank or a 13 gallon tank because a read in a post that you can cut the vent tube and make it a 20 gallon tank . Thats on all the xj's with a metal tank .

My 95 4cyl YJ was like that. Cut the vent tube and went from a 15 to a 20 gallon, and it just read full for the first 5 gallons.
